Thirty-three teams from across Northwestern Ontario and Minnesota took off at 8:00 this morning, in search of the monster walleye in the Rainy River. The 13th Emo Walleye Classic had a successful launch this morning, with 17 teams heading West, and 16 teams heading East, a significant change in strategy from other years, when the majority went East. Expect a shakeup of who brings in the big bag today at 3:30pm at the Emo/LaVallee Arena, as this year especially, it’s anyone’s tournament!
