Badiuk Powersport had come on board once again as a sponsor, for the Badiuk Powersport River Champions. This award will be presented after the Rainy River tournament in September. The $1,000 prize will be presented to the top team who have fished both tournaments in a Lund boat with the same partner and combined finish from both tournaments
The Emo walleye classic will be having our tournament May 25, 26, and 27, 2023. Fishing Friday and Saturday with rules meeting Thursday night. The entry fee will be $500 per team starting position will be based on 2022 final results and/if team are paid in full by February 28, 2023. After that will be based on first paid.
In honor of our friend and committee member Nevin Bonot, any teams that are paid in full by February 28th are eligble for the early bird draw with a prize of $500.
The Elmer Haglin Memorial will once again be awarded this year, sponsored by Keith Smith, featuring a cash prize of $250, randomly drawn. This award is given to a team who are family members fishing together. example: grandparent/grandchild, parent/child etc
New this year will be the Ricky Thompson memorial, cash prize of $500 Donated by Vernon and Darwin Thompson. This draw will be randomly drawn after all the award prizes have been handed out. Both members of the team must be present to receive this award.
The Rookie award of $250 will be handed out to a team that has never fished before or one partner is new to the tournament.
The Junior Angler award of $500 will be handed out to a team who’s combined age adds up to less than 50.
